What happens inside the work?
You stop running. You turn around. You meet what you find.
One room holds it all. Then the door opens.
Can I finally stop?
You sit down. Not to fix anything. Not to feel better. Just to stop.
For a moment, nothing is required of you.
You let yourself be heavy, and the ground takes the weight.
Can I finally feel?
You meet the sensation before the story.
A tightening. Heat. Pressure. Emptiness. The urge to move away.
Instead of immediately explaining it or escaping it, you stay close enough to notice what is actually happening.
Can I finally change?
Once you can remain with what is here, inquiry becomes possible. You begin to examine the meaning attached to the pattern, the conclusions you carried forward, and what your original view may have left out.
Sometimes the pattern loosens. Sometimes you simply see it sooner. Both matter.Sit. Inquire. Integrate.
Sit.
Inquire.
Transform.
Can I finally live?
The work eventually leaves the room.
It enters the conversation you used to avoid. The boundary you could not hold. The work you kept postponing.
The moment you feel the old reaction arrive, and discover that you have another choice.
The ordinary becomes enough.
One wall still stands. The stone still runs under your feet. The chair faces the open sky. You no longer need the building.
You have already stopped running once. Long enough to read this far.
